When I set up the version of the art status list with wordcount projections in it, I assumed Joys would only reach a wordcount of about 25-30k. Reviewing the plotline before starting NaNoWriMo, I figured maybe it could make it to 50k. And if it didn't, surely I could come up with some filler or epilogue material that would get it there.
Well. I realized last weekend, with a wordcount of 20k and four of five pages of plotline remaining, that I sorely underestimated the story. xD This is good. It gives me the freedom to change and remove unnecessary crap from the plotline. Thus, the story becomes a lot simpler. Yay!

In unrelated news, I found some epic pajama pants in WalMart. HOT PINK FREE HUGS PAJAMA PANTS. ...I love them so hard. 8D If I don't make a Guy cosplay before Ikkicon (likely outcome), I'll probably wear those pants for the whole of Ikki-weekend. xD;;
Also. I keep forgetting this... THANK YOU FOR THE RECENT WATCHES AND FAVES.
...
Here, have a teaser. (ilu, Sebastien. <3)

It was just after midday. An archer sat on a reasonably low branch of a pine tree. He sighted a rabbit not far in the distance, and waited. He waited some more. The rabbit slowly crept closer to his perch. As it drew near enough that he felt his accuracy would be nothing short of one hundred percent, he drew back his arrow, double-checked his aim, and released it.
As the arrow hit the dirt beside it, the rabbit jumped, and scrambled off.
Phew, the archer sighed.
Sebastien, another voice sternly called.
Yes, Kiève? the archer called back.
You did that on purpose.
Whatever gave you that idea? the archer asked, slipping from his perch and setting his feet on the ground.
Kiève scowled at him. Thats the third rabbit today.
Actually, Sebastien corrected, It might have been the same rabbit three times, although I distinctly remember the white spot being bigger on the second than it was on that one.
Youre a better shot than that.
Aw, you flatter me~ the archer sang, But really, my aim is terrible.
You felled five bandits in succession, and four of five of those shots came very near your allies.
See, like I said--
Your precision is impeccable, Kiève stated, refusing to acknowledge the archers protests. I dont believe that you could miss a slow-moving, unguarded target.
Slow-moving? the archer said, gaping. Did you see the way that bunny ran?
It didnt run until after you shot at it.
Thats what you think.
We love you, Kiève lied. We adore your enthusiasm with regards to protecting all that Mother Nature has given us. We know that you love bunnies. But Fate-be-damned, we have to eat something.
The archer pointed around the man before him. There are berries under that bush.

[link] [link] [link] [link] [link] BRANDON.
Pick one? xD; Maybe? Ignore the hacked hair on the first link for Brandon. The events that made him cut it may not happen in the story anymore. *will work it out later* ...He's just not the same without his hair. xD; GOLDIELOCKS. And the not-quite-elven ears, best shown on the pikachibi, I can explain later. *GETTING READY FOR WORK, WHEE* Florian's ears are kinna different now, too, I think. Blah, characters in limbo. Mock-elven Flo, mock-human Goldilocks. *maim'd* S'all that matters at the moment. Muses are muses, their story is irrelevant right now.
You don't have to do anything, though. That's an option, too. xD But thank you for wanting to? >:
